Abelardo Pardo
Associate Professor on Software for Educational Environments The University of Sydney

Abelardo is an Associate Professor of Software for Educational Environments at The University of Sydney, Australia, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of Colorado at Boulder. He is the director of the Learning and Affect Technologies Engineering Research Laboratory, co-director of the Learning Analytics Research Group, and co-director of the Faculty of Engineering and IT Education Innovation Unit. His research interests are in the area of educational technology, learning analytics, personalized learning, use of technology for student support, and digital learning experiences.

Susi Steigler-Peters
Education Industry Executive Telstra

Susi is the Education Lead within Telstra. Her role reaches all Australian schools, TAFEs, universities and key education agencies. The role also has a global focus, particularly Asia, MENA, Europe, USA and Southern Africa. Susi’s key areas of focus are the provision of thought leadership, solution innovation, industry insight & strategic engagement with education C-levels and ministers. She is focused on collaborating with education leaders to help them arrive at their preferred future. Susi is a champion of the link between learning & fulfilling your potential as well as contributing to the nation’s economy.

Dr Peter Webster
Principal John XXIII Catholic Learning Community

Peter is Principal at St Mark’s Catholic College and John XXIII Primary School, a K-12 Co-educational Systemic Catholic College at Stanhope Gardens NSW. He has been a member of the NSW BOSTES Quality Teaching Council since 2013. He has a passion for learning and strives to examine all decisions through the lens of impact on the diverse learning needs of students. He seeks to build the capacity of staff to use data to inform their own work and student learning. Peter has an interest in 21st Century enterprise skills and ensuring that staff and students work collaboratively for an innovative, sustainable and just learning environments. As a leader of learning he endeavors to build a new-new school to challenge our lifelong learners of today.
