Kate Save, her co-founder Dr Geoffrey Draper, and the team at Be Fit Food have experienced massive growth and overcome many challenges since launching in 2014. But as their wins at the 2018 Telstra Business Awards - including Victorian Business of the Year and the Small & Succeeding Award - have shown, their hard work has paid off. In episode one, Adam speaks to Kate about growing your small business, minus the pain.

Kate Save is the CEO and Co-Founder of Be Fit Food, a weight loss program that aims to help people reset their metabolism for long-term health, and to view food as the first medicine for chronic diseases like diabetes and obesity. Kate has explored the many facets of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in her career as an accredited practicing dietitian, exercise physiologist and diabetes educator. Kate is also the Founder and Director of Peninsula Physical Health and Nutrition.

Adam Spencer is an author, mathematician, comedian and former radio presenter. His career includes breakfast radio announcer on triple j and ABC Sydney, hosting science show Quantum and various podcasts, and appearances on shows such as The Back Page, ABC’s The Drum, Good News Week and The Glasshouse. He’s also a promoter of science-related events and programs. Adam has written several recreational books about maths.
